What we believe

Ex Nihilo is a gallery, a ministry, and a community. At its core, it is a Christian organization; therefore, it is of utmost importance that we define our beliefs. Our foundation begins with these core tenets:

• There is ONE God who exists in three equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (the Holy Trinity).

  God is eternal. He is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.

• Jesus the Christ is God. He laid down His crown and was physically born of a virgin.

• Jesus the Christ led a perfect and sinless life as He walked the earth that He created.

• Jesus laid down His life voluntarily as a ransom payment for our sins. He is the ONLY way to God in heaven.

• Jesus died on a cross and three days later physically returned to life.

• Forty days later, Jesus physically ascended to heaven.

• Every person is broken by sin and in need of salvation. We are saved by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ.

• The Bible is the infallible Word of God.

• There is life after death. Those who have surrendered their lives to Jesus for salvation will live eternally in heaven. Those who reject Him will be eternally separated from the presence of God.
