Watch out that no one deceives you.

Seek Wisdom! Pray for Discernment! Jesus says that false messiahs, wars, earthquakes, all of these things will happen – and many of them have happened in the past and are happening now – so how will we know when He will return? Jesus tells us that He will return, this is called His “Second Coming,” and through the years many people have preached on it and warned people about it, yet here we are.
I Do believe that Jesus will return, however, it could be tomorrow or in a hundred years. No one can say exactly, because Jesus tells us, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father,” (Ma 24:26).

What we *can* say is that Jesus warns us to beware of people who would deceive us about Him and the times we live in, purposefully or unintentionally.
In Matthew 10:16, Jesus says, “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”
Since you might be having as crazy of a day (year? 2020s?) as I am, why don’t we stop and pray for discernment and wisdom from the One who is the Truth (Jn 14:6)?

*** A Prayer: Lord, thank You for warning me that there are deceivers and deceptive messages in the world. Fill me with Your Spirit and help me discern fact from fiction, truth from error, and good from evil. Give me humility so I can receive what is true. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
