Inspired by 9/11 and Psalm 46:10
A tribute to those who lost their lives that dreadful day and to their surviving families.
The woman represents Lady Liberty symbolically laying down that day. As a reminder that no matter the horrors this life throws at us, we may find comfort in God. The painting is titled "Be Still" from the Bible verse Psalm 46:10. “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth!” Rest assured the day of reckoning is yet to come and Jesus will take vengeance and judge the world. (Isa 2.12; Rom 12.19 and many more)
