Have you ever had God come through for you? Ever seen a prayer answered? Ever praised God for something you have seen or experienced—ever?

My guess is you have. And you know what? You’re going to praise Him again, because “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever,” (Heb 13:8).
BUT (you might ask): How can I trust that God is Really with me *now,* that I don’t need to be afraid? Will He come through for me Again? Hebrews 13:8 answers our doubts by telling us that Jesus Christ doesn’t change, He is the same on our bad days and our good days. Ever-loving, ever-present.

And you know what, I'm SO glad that our God doesn’t have whims. He doesn’t “like” us today and drop us tomorrow. He’s not a human and He doesn’t act like one.
Every human will let us down at some point (because, you know, they are human). But even if we don’t understand what is happening or why, we can count on the fact that God is there with us, loving us through it--lean into that, friend. Because it’s true.

A Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for being here with me in this right now. Fill me with a profound sense of Your presence and calm my mind, spirit, and body. Take away my fear and anxiety with Your peace. Increase my faith. I believe, Lord. Help my unbelief! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
