Family of God is a large multimedia installation exploring faith, migration, and shared lineage through image and light.

The artwork features three cyanotype portraits of Noah’s sons, derived from oil paintings, mounted on a cross-shaped wooden base. These panels act as a blueprint for creation and are layered with ancient migration maps—torn, repaired with gold leaf in kintsugi style, and edged with red wax, symbolizing the dispersion from Babel.

Crucially, the original oil portraits are presented as a low-mounted projection. The light is intentionally positioned to fall on the viewer’s back, making the person standing before the piece a living reflection of divine presence and completing the artwork. Precise assembly and projection placement are essential to realize this experiential effect.
