I've heard people say that if they could go back in time to talk to their younger self they could avoid mistakes. In this painting the younger self is the one speaking to the older self. She’s showing her the inner beauty that comes from life's lessons...don’t change a thing. Gen. 1:27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God (Imago Dei) He created him; male and female He created them. (The older self is the artist’s self-portrait.)
