Mossie, Magnolia Dell

We own a restaurant in a park in Pretoria. In the park are a few little sparrows (Afrikaans - Mossies) who have become quite tame, hopping amongst the customers to find crumbs and scraps of food. They always remind me of Matthew 10:29 'Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.' In the past, an image of two sparrows adorned the smallest denomination South African coin.
