Moses' encounter with God in the desert is the main inspiration, but also R. C. Sproul's discussion of the Burning Bush in his Holiness of God book/lectures. I tried to capture the violence and light of the flame but balance that against the bush not being consumed by the flame in this supernatural event.
NOTE: This is a Variable Edition (V/E). There are only 6 of these and I don't paint them until they're ordered, so no two are exactly the same.
